Nissan Thailand has partnered with Bangkok University (BU) to launch a collaborative project aimed at fostering marketing knowledge among Thai youth from February to May 2023. Under this initiative, students can display their creative abilities by submitting a plan to produce compelling online content to communicate the e-Power technology that turns gasoline into electricity and driven by 100% electric motor, which is the only new driving system in Thailand.
The campaign attracted more than 500 interested students who can learn more useful information about e-POWER technology, such as fuel economy efficiency and the same driving experience as a 100% electric car, including visiting the e-Power battery assembly plant Thailand is a key manufacturing hub for Nissan in Southeast Asia.
“Nissan Thailand is committed to fostering the development of our youth through various initiatives and projects that empower them to reach their full potential. Our partnership with Bangkok University is a shining example of this commitment,” said Isao Sekiguchi, President of Nissan Thailand.
“In addition to providing a platform for the younger generation to showcase their potential and gain professional experience, they will also learn to create communication experience about modern technology that is useful to consumers in a way that is easy to understand and reach more target groups. This project also serves as a relationship-building opportunity between the car brand and the new generation. It allows students to experience a variety of Nissan cars that cater to different target groups and provides us with new, attractive content from the various perspectives. This will benefit the further development of our vehicles, technologies, and services.”
Students participating in the program have about two months to develop a promotional plan, including creating compelling content for students to post on their online media channels before presenting their projects to a panel of judges, consisting of executives from Nissan Thailand and professional marketers. This final round of the campaign will take place at the end of May.
The online media content creation contest is a one-of-a-kind educational project organized by Nissan, designed to allow young people to showcase their potential and prepare for the real world of work. By combining communication skills with creativity and applying them in a real business context, participants can gain valuable knowledge and experience.
