BMW Group Thailand, led by Mr. Alexander Baraka, President and CEO, recently held the qualifying round of the BMW Golf Cup 2023, the world’s largest tournament for amateur golfers at Siam Country Club Bangkok. The final 126 amateur golfers will be chosen from 2,800 participants nationwide to the National Final in November which will be the selection of three winners representing Thailand in the World Final round.
The BMW Golf Cup 2023 qualifying round has been organized from January 2023, with total of 21 tournaments. The last tournament will be held on 26 May 2023 in Bangkok. The amateur golfers who hit the hole-in-one at selected holes will receive special prizes including:
- The exclusive trip for 2 people* to explore the VIP experience at BMW Championship 2024 at Castle Pines Golf Club, United States of America for the golfer who hits a hole-in-one at the 3rd hole, awarded by BMW Financial Services Thailand.
- A Luxury Golf Watch, MARQ Golfer model for the first golfer who hits a hole-in-one at the 5th hole, awarded by Garmin, the leading smart watch brand.
- Bowers & Wilkins Formation DUO for the first golfer who hits a hole-in-one at the 18th hole, awarded by Bower & Wilkins.
In addition, BMW Thailand has also invited participating golfers to contribute to charitable causes which part of the proceeds from the BMW Golf Cup 2023 will be passed to the Chaipattana Foundation in support of His Majesty the late King Bhumibhol Adulyadej’s sustainable development projects.

- In the case that more than one golfer makes a Hole-in-One at the 3rd hole, the prize will be divided in equal value among the winners
