BMW Thailand is embracing festive celebrations with a vibrant video animation in BMW cars depicting the joyful moment through lively memorable activities like party, travel that everyone enjoys spending time together. The special feature will be available to accompany BMW customers during Christmas celebrations from December 23-26, 2021, and during the beginning of the new era from December 31, 2021, to January 4, 2022.
During this specific period, owners of supported BMW models can activate these animated special greetings in their vehicles in three ways; through the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant with voice command by saying “Hello BMW” followed by “Happy Holidays” during Xmas season, saying “Hello BMW’ followed by “Happy New Year” during New Year holidays, and through the home screen by selecting ‘Apps Menu’, then ‘Installed Apps’, and selecting ‘Festive App’ icon to activate the animations. Upon activation, a full-screen animation on the BMW control display, accompanied by pleasant festive music and dazzling ambient lighting sequence will automatically appear up to three times when starting the car.
The special festive greetings animation will be available for specific models include BMW 2 Series, BMW 3 Series, BMW 4 Series, BMW 5 Series, BMW 6 Series, BMW
7 Series, and BMW 8 Series as well as BMW X3, BMW X5, BMW X6, BMW X7, BMW Z4, BMW iX3, and BMW iX. Supported vehicles must have the latest BMW Operating System 7 and software version 07/2020 or later, as well as the BMW Live Cockpit Plus or BMW Live Cockpit Professional settings.
